It boggles the mind, his longevity has to be unheard of. Can't say he has had an easy life, he was involved in the most brutal lion fight I've ever seen, and suffered really severe injuries as a result (though the other lion fared far worse, as I believe he succumbed to his injuries). So, while not having a full understanding of lion dynamics in the area, there is other lions around. I literally can't explain it. Lions who die from old age, even those who remain pride males until their deaths like DM and SN Majin, don't come close to his current age.
