I assume that it was measured in straight line, as its size is comparable to the biggest males in Venezuela.

Definitely a huge cat, my guess is that this male is over the curves.
Also curious the actual protocol used since some of the verbiage is foreign to me. Not quite sure what he means by tail vertebrae in terms of start point. I know the vertebrae within the tail but not sure if there’s a difference in a starting point? And considering it’s tail is so short 25”, It definitely makes me wonder. But then again, he very well could of had some bit off by Piranhas which happens often.

Both over the curves, Joker could be the largest Jaguar ever captured, at least in terms of weight.
