Its interesting how all 3 lone lionesses (Tsalala, Sparta and Ximhungwe) are left with only 1 surviving cub, althrough we dont know how many Ximhungwe lioness had cubs, its very rare that lioness gave birth to only 1 cubs, so she too prob had more..
Its seems that its hard for 1 lioness to keep an eye on multiple cubs, and usually the 1 who keep close to his mother and dont vander around survive..
Also,when mother is not there, in the case of leopard, hyena or dog attack, when there are multiple cubs,cubs has better chances to run away because predators cant focus on them all (Tsalala cubs case, current female managed to run away while leopard was busy killing her 2 siblings)..
