(feb/2016) T55 is stoic and composed, constantly appearing emotionless and indifferent to most events. An expert in his craft, T55 shows great confidence and fortitude in any challenge presented before him. T55 also seems to be confident in his abilities. showing a very no-nonsense attitude, he is straight to the point and speaks no more than necessary. To which, T55 will carry out his contracts, no matter whom his targets may be, nor can he be bribed or convince to turn away from the assignment. More to his unwavering commitment and resolve, even when at a disadvantage, T55 refuses to back down from the challenge. choosing to face any opponent that crosses his path. when i return from vacation, id like to work on Kolsa tigers and figure out a few missing pieces and i think Kolsa tigers will be on the map by the end of this year. i apologize in advance, ill be away for a couple months but when i return. its going to be fun!

Varun Mani Umarpani Male, Flehmen Response. 07/01/17, Mukki.  *This image is copyright of its original author Rachit Singh The innocent-faced Tiger : This young Male we call Bhola, was from the 2012 litter of Badi Mada (2012 litter sired by Thin Stripe Male). While he spent the initial part of his childhood with his sibling at Minkur, his sightings were few & far between 2014. It was the period when Choti Mada was sighted frequently at the Baba Thenga Talao along with 4 cubs. However, upon closer examination of the Baba Thenga litter, we were pleasantly surprised to note that a female cub of the Baba Thenga litter (Dhawajhandi’s sister) was apparently missing while Bhola had taken her place in the family! Choti Mada raising her little half-brother along with her own cubs was indeed a revelation in the annals of social interaction between Tigers. Although Bhola hasn’t been sighted in tourism areas from End-2015 onwards, we can only hope he stepped into adulthood & is alive somewhere out there. Male Tiger  *This image is copyright of its original author Anshuman Kumar Wildlife Photography Dec. 24, 2016 Road Block : Sharing image of a massive male tiger named Munna (Its not an official name) from Kisli Zone of Kanha National Park. He is probably around 14 years old (quite old for a wild tiger). By the time we realised that he is directly heading to cross the road in front our our jeep, he was already on the road. I was using 7D MK II with 300 MM prime lens and suddenly realised that i could see only head of the tiger in the frame. Fortunately (would rather say from similar mistakes / experience in past at Tadoba Tiger reserve) had kept a spare camera, 600D with 70-200 MM lens switched ON. Even at 70 MM, tiger is hardly fitting in the frame. Exif: Canon 7D MKII + 70-200 F/2.8 IS II lens F/2.8, IS0 200, Shutter speed 1/800 (better setting would be F /5.6, to get better detail on the tiger as it was very close. Tadoba tour finished with 08 tiger sightings, 01 leopard and 01 sloth bear sighting. Got some wonderful pics of this male tiger. Bird activity was less this time as compared to summer season. TATR, Maharashtra January 2016  *This image is copyright of its original author

George Schaller, after 1 year of observing Kanha tiger between 1964-1965, noted that one of the biggest male gaurs in the park had been killed by a tiger. They usually have a ruff around their neck and their build is a very dense and muscular cat. I'm not sure if they are the longest tigers but they usually seem very tall and thick.
