4 unrelated (i mean some of them are related thru Old Gomondwane bloodline, but they are from different gruops/prides) males together, thats quite rare, remainds me of 4 DeLaportes.

Dont know about most recent, but they where seen month or two ago. They are nomads so maybe they currently hang in the area which is not that covered.

"New male lions have arrived. With a takeover imminent. A large coalition has pushed into the Maputo and Kumana male lions territory. The new males were mating with the limping Shish lioness.

Yesterday the Maputo male was seen injured."

Who could these males be? Their are 2 big coalitions next to their territory, the 7 Sataras and 5 Tricharst males.

I guess we will have to wait for the April Singita report to know more about this takeover.

Prob Satara boys, Trichards are further south.

Hope Maputo is not seriusly injured.

This is now very interesting.

This is quite north from their usuall territory, this also explain why 3+1 young Mazithis become dominant around their usuall territory on southern s37.

Now we have 3 big coalitions around Satara: 4 young Shish, 7 Satara boys and 5 Trichards, altrough we have to wait and see how many Trichardts are here.

Oh, i taught he lost his ear in meantime, because they are very similar (prob littermates) and both have scar on left cheek.

Do you have ID's of all 5 Trichardts?
