There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

MATIRA MAGAZIN:
Boxernose: defending meal against Hyanas

The day before yesterday, the Matira crew saw Boxernose by defending his meal against plenty of Hyanas. Not an easy job, but his friend Earless is coming to support him. Two so powerful lions impress also a hungry pack of hyenas...

Those hyenas know they can taunt Boxer Nose, because he's an old male, but notice the collective wave when Earless arrives... Boss.

@Majingilane:

In the beginning I was amazed to see so much hyenas asking for their sustenance around the male lion. Before I read that this male, Boxer Nose, was old. Thus, we can see again two male from two different generations (like Notch and his sons at Masai Mara) reigning over a territory.
