There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

Quite problematic breedeing conditions, non-collaboration with zoos, declawing of tigers, they try to produce liger...

If true then I would definitely say that Tiger Oasis is far from a "sanctuary. "

Where did you hear about these allegations, could we see?

Do you know that for sure? Would be quite disappointing. Really hoped they are pure breed.

Breeders from various zoo told that to me...as well as some people who visited tiger oasis. I have this info also from various discussion forums. All these sources give basically the same info Sad

I dont think they are purebreds
Its a Refuge, so the tigers could be mixed ones.

Was charger a large tiger?
I thought he was just overly aggressive.
He does look large though.

These people who are breeding N. American bengals think they are dogs. They are going to selectively breed the aggression out of them just like in our modern dogs. The thing is, dogs still bite the hands that feed them from time to time, a tiger will as well. But once they do, the damage is just far worse.
