I believe this is either Pench or Panna, they use #PTR for those reserves interchangeably.

#Tiger found #dead in #Corbett, 3rd big #cat death this Year 2019..

Nainital: The body of a male tiger was found in Bijrani zone of Corbett Tiger Reserve (CTR) on Friday afternoon. This is the third recorded tiger death in the state this year and first in the CTR.

Preliminary reports suggest that the big cat was killed because of infighting. CTR director Rahul, who goes only by his first name, told TOI, “The tiger’s skull was broken and there were claw and teeth marks all over its body. This suggests that the animal was killed as a result of infighting. Its age was between 8 and 10 years. We have also collected samples from water holes around the spot to rule out foul play.”

He added that the big cat was cremated after conducting a post-mortem and its viscera samples have been collected for further tests as per National Tiger Conservation Authority guidelines.
