Actually the information is quite inaccurate, Bajrang doesn’t command 8 tigresses. he has Sonam, Lara, Mona (no evidence of this, she hasn’t been sighted in almost two years), Devdoh, Devdoh Jr (Devdoh and Wagdoh’s first litter daughter.) that makes it 5 females and I would probably say realistically 4 to be exact. I don’t think Mona is around anymore. Choti Tara is not Bajrang’s mate and the young female he was recently seen with in Kolara buffer turned out to be his daughter. he wouldn’t mate with his own daughter. also it looks like Old Wagdoh female (Kori) was recently seen in Kolara buffer after a long absence and she’s also not Bajrang’s mate. high chance, V7 and Kankajhari will try to fight over her if she manages to carve out her own territory. odds are against her though, she’s old. pretty much every female in Kolara buffer has cubs with Kankajhari male, he’s fully healed up now and is looking alot bulkier this week. heard he made a gaur kill recently, allowed Junabai and the kids to eat first before he joined the feast. Magnificient male tiger in his prime. true prodigy of Katezari male. it’s a new era, kids of Yeda Anna, Gangaram, Shivaji, Wagdoh, Katezari and Namdev rule all over Tadoba now. It would have been nice to see one of Gabbar’s kid in there but he only had two, male cub was killed by Namdev and the daughter (Sitara) was last seen in 2016. there are unconfirmed reports of her being a resident female in Navegaon buffer’s non tourism area.

@Roflcopters
Choti Tara was seen with Bajarang quite recently and it's assumed they were mating but I haven't seen definitive proof, he was definitely courting though.

Another Write up on Bajrang, Let me know what you think?
Sanjeev Siva‎

An Empire of Bajrang.
Bajrang is generally a name given to any tiger that's huge. And huge tigers generally amass a huge area.
By the end of 2011, the dominance of Yeda Anna at Moharli range was over, following a clash with Wagdoh. Wagdoh, one of the biggest tigers, then went on to be the sovereign ruler by killing Madhuri's cubs from Yeda Anna.
Madhuri and Wagdoh raised their newest litter (the Telia sisters), and once the Telia gang reached to subadulthood stage, Madhuri eventually left Moharli range, and so did Wagdoh (a love story that could beat any Bollywood story).
In 2015, the throne of Moharli was empty, and that was when Bajrang appeared from no where. His ancestry is not known. He seemed to have come from Kolara buffer area.
Since then, Bajrang has amassed a huge territory, and in the process took many queens under his rule. He is responsible for siring many litters and cubs with them, probably more than 30 tigers.
He currently rules the territories and thus has the following queens as his consorts - Sonam, Lara, Mona, new Wagdoh female, Devdoh 1, Devdoh new female (daughter of Devdoh 1 and Bajrang), Kolara buffer tigress, Choti Tara (whom he mated recently).
That makes him the sovereign ruler of 8 tigresses and the territories; perhaps the biggest of any tiger from Tadoba, ever, and perhaps the largest number of consorts at a single time, by any tiger, ever. Tadoba is an empire of Bajrang, thus.

Sachin Neware Well information ...
I think He was saw & first sighted in 2014 as the day of ##Hanuman jayanti...that's whay called Bajrang.!!!!

Flá Perez I love this stories.

One question: is there any son/daugther or grandson/granddaughter of Yeda Anna alive?

Sanjeev Siva Yup. Devdoh female is the daughter of Yeda Anna.
His son Ookhan from Badi Tara or Lakshmi is ruling a range called Godazhari.
His daughter Choti Tara from same litter as Ookhan is now reigning queen of Jamni (tourism area). The sons of Choti Tara from Matkasur are hence the grandsons of Yeda Anna

Flá Perez Can I ask you 2 more?
Where is Wagdoh? Is Madhuri's last litter fathered by him?

Sanjeev Siva Wagdoh is alive but in non tourism area. The current litter of Wagdoh is fathered by a new tiger called Khali. Who is probably the brother of Bajrang or from the family line of Bajrang.

Najish Sheikh Sanjeev Siva i heard that he came from waghdoh area as waghdoh could be the father of bajrang....Heard from guides.

Sanjeev Siva Nope. He came from Kolara buffer side and constantly visits Kolara buffer even now. He's not from Moharli range, as he was never seen when Wagdoh or Yeda Anna were around.

Wagdoh had a son named Shiva at Wagdoh side, around the same time he sired Telia gang with Madhuri; Shiva later disappeared. Not from Wagdoh line, at all

Nirav Rawal Sanjeev Siva first he entered malgaon talav range, and covered some of non tourism area and some buffer area of Mohurli side. He was earlier known as malgaon talav range. Bajrang tried to mate with choti Tara, but was not successful. No doubt he is having one of the biggest territory in Tadoba. This was just to add more info about him. Very good and detail info shared by you. Keep it up

Thanks for sharing that article @Pckts

few things that are off.

- Choti Tara is Matkasur’s mate, Bajrang only managed to mate with her when Matkasur was injured from that fight with the mother sloth bear, he’s back in action now. Bajrang hasn’t returned.

- Mona is not around anymore.

- Kori (Old Wagdoh tigress) is not Bajrang’s mate, she was recently seen in Kolara buffer area and is not even a resident female there.

- Bajrang and Devdoh’s previous litter sub adult daughter has been hanging around Kolara buffer, Bajrang has been following her to keep her protected from any possible danger. why would he mate with his own daughter? It’s also widely believed that Kankajhari got clawed and bit in the face by Bajrang because they were both in close vicnity before Kankajhari turned up with those injuries.

Also, Bajrang in his four years of dominance has accomplished so much. I’d assume by the start of next year. He will have the highest number of cubs ever produced by a male tiger in Tadoba. he’s one of a kind and probably the biggest male inside core area. fair bet.

Tfs !

ok it seems like Kori (Old Wagdoh tigress, mother of Jharni) is still active in Wagdoh area and is indeed Bajrang’s partner, she goes all the way up to Kolara buffer. here she is next to Bajrang.

New young male appears in Kolara buffer.

*This image is copyright of its original author

A male tiger was seen in Kolara buffer during the June 15 morning safari near Veergaon Camp. Initially the tiger was thought to be V7, as his territory is close by. But a closer look reveals that this is a much younger tiger than V7.

On comparing the stripes, the tiger turned out to be one of the cubs of Shivanjhari female, from Kolsa range. In her last litter, born in 2015, Shivanjhari had 4 cubs. This male cub separated from his mother around 2017 and spent some time near Karwa village, before moving towards Veergaon area. He is still a young tiger, trying to find a territory. So he might just use this area to move to another location, and not stay here.

Tigers from Moharli range (e.g. Bajrang), Tadoba range (e.g. Madkasur) and Kolsa range (e.g. male cub of Shivanjhari) use Kolara buffer area, in addition to two male tigers (V7 and Kankajhari) from Katezari area having their territory there, revealing how strategically Kolara buffer is located, and how tigers are using the area to disperse within TATR.

when he first appeared in Dec/2016, many people (including myself) thought V7 wouldn’t survive the competition but it looks like we were all wrong. two years later, he’s still going strong around Katezari area and parts of Kolara buffer. June/2018

Without warning she came out of nowhere and disappeared in few seconds leaving us yearning for more.
