Learned to never underestimate a lion. Ever. Nature has built them to be tough and hardy. Something beyond humans would ever comprehend having to share the same living quarters as buffalo, hyena, hippo, elephant, rhino, crocodile etc, but the chances of them slipping into majingilane territory would be slim based on their condition. If I was a betting man, I would say birminghams notice absence of roars to the south west and slowly creep into singita, idube, elephant plains, inyati etc and make it their own. Mantinmahle take most of mala, kirkmans and kruger. Avocas and Tsalalas compete for lion sands, londolozi, ukumbue and western mala mala. Matimbas will likely just potter around living nomadically, not sure if they are able to properly have a run at it given how old they are. But hey, never underestimate a lion!

Matmbas was seen today,both of them ginger lead hb at ththe back.GINGER was in better condition HB a lilittle thiner.they are on the move moving very clever like old experience wariors they are.

Two mature male lions were looking a shade of their former glory as they moved across an open area into the darkness. Despite their need for a meal, you could not help but admire their size and majesty.

George they found the lucky. Ginger and hb caughted a buffalo calf this morning and are eating it. The matimbas really have the same age of majingilanes as they are getting old at the same time. Matimbas maybe are only some months younger than majingis.

They're about 6 months to 1 year younger than the Majingilane.

Last night the two Matimba males were finally successful in securing themselves a small, however, much-needed meal as they managed to capture a Cape Buffalo calf.
Its quite astonishing that these 2 have managed to survive just over a year now on their own. The Majingilanes had a territory and prides to help but these 2 have made it till now strictly by themselves. The Matimbas are still overachieving like they've always done.
