There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

Other male lion coalitions from Masai Mara

This beating is very much worth it if Oleku can make this stick and join the coalition. I heard all 7 Topi boys are together now, together as in the Marsh area but they are pretty much never seen together, usually in groups of 3 / 4. Take that with a grain of salt tho, I’ve not seen anything about the 7th brother who likes to stay behind reuniting with his brothers in a video, just ppl claiming he’s there. Looks like Bila Shakas aren’t interested in fighting it out for Marsh Pride, so this seems permanent for now. Will be interesting to see what pride they’ll target next given the crazy size of their coalition already, never mind if they add another member.

2 of the remaining 3 Muskies sons! Gorgeous, impressive lions they are, firmly in control of 2 prides bordering Kenya and Tanzania.

Lorkulup hunting and bringing down a buffalo...

" Male lions are considered good buffalo hunters, primarily due to their larger size and strength which allows them to take down such large prey, even though lionesses typically do most of the hunting in a pride; in situations where large animals like buffalo are present, male lions can play a crucial role in the hunt and in this case of Lorkulup, he might not even need any help.
