For those interested….all 4 of the Kambula boys are BACK TOGETHER!! K4 was calling for the others last night and they responded. They were chased by the Ndzengas. K4 ran FINE!! Thank you Joanne Stewart for messaging me.

As for the main topic of your post, if the K4s are so easily driven to flee by two males, I'd say their current situation is much more perilous than I had previously thought.

There are many two male lions together. These are the strongest male lions in Sabi sands. Maybe two male lions in north are stronger male lions with Torchwood lionesses and looking for Nukhuma lions.

Amazing news that K4 called his brothers and they found him, and even better that he managed to outrun the Ndhzengas somehow.

Relieved k4 is back with his brothers. Watching him walk the other day I don't believe he will have any limps or lasting injuries. In the beginning it looked so much worse over seeing on video and not being actually on the scene. Probably very lucky combined with good fighting capabilities he was able to keep his life.

K4 seen at WildEarth Today
Looks like he did have a good meal look at the belly. He still has a limp but he is walking fine and seems like he is figuring out on how to walk with it. He is still recovering and the wounds seem it is closing up but he still needs time to recover.

Guides are saying that they are together in the past 3 days but do not know the current location of the other 3 today. I would assume K4 did go for a drink in the dam after filling his belly with this sighting, that is why he is alone it is also stated by Amy (WildEarth Presenter) that he is walking away from Tree House Dam and seems like he did go for a drink there. With that big belly I would also assume he is with his brothers and hunted a prey as he would have a hard time hunting a prey big enough to make his belly big with having an injury or maybe it is the giraffe carcass, but I would doubt that as it's been more or less 2 weeks and it would be rotting to the point he cannot get his belly that big.

Even if he keeps a limp he will probably be fine as long he can rely on his brothers on his weaker hours.
The real question, has the inner territorial K4 survived the attack or will he now fall in his partners easy going lifestyle.

I think him surviving this shows his character, this will make him better. He was a little too confident hanging out by himself in dangerous territories, this will probably make him a little more cautious and stick with his brothers more which is a good thing for all of them. I liked how soon as K4 was in good enough of shape to call for his brothers, they showed up right away.
