There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

Really good high-quality photos on when K5 and K6 was in Londolozi. Really love the face structure of K5 as it is different from most male lions.

Kambulas have everything right now to start a successful journey. The territory, a huge pride that accepts them fully and are likely pregnant with their cubs, prime age and the numbers. All they have to do is stick to it, remain together, roar and don't flee if a smaller coalition shows up.

It doesn't even seem they get much pressure, K4's beating aside, Mantimahle mostly stays far north and were never seen with the bulk of the pride, PCM apparently gave up on taking over the north after mating with Tsalala and Othawas.

Biggest problem here I think, it's not even the lost clashes, but the fact the Kambulas would often leave their "territory" or don't seek to find the pride very often, despite not having constant pressure. They lack a bit of that persistence of BDMs or Tumbela.

I hope this time they can at least remain in the NK territory, with the pride, and even if they aren't ready to oppose a strong duo, that they remain there together until K4 returns at full force.
