Mandevu & Mbiri son with the Mbiri pride, cub included:

Good that they are bonding, Orpen son might truly become Mandevu's next reliable partner.

And holy cow Orpen son is indeed quite bigger than Mandevu at 3 years and 10 montha, clear difference in height and doesn't look overall less impressive despite not having as much of a full stomach or a full mane.

Can't wait to see how he looks in his prime.

He does have Matimba genes from both sides
Something tells me Mandevu isnt a particulary big lion too, I remember him being dwarfed by Lambile

Yea, Mandevu is not a tall lion, he was smallest in height of the brothers, but quite bulky build.

Lambile was very tall lion, shame for his disease at such young age.

True, Lambile dwarved him in length. Although Lambile is probably the tallest lion I have ever seen. Such a shame he was struggling with illness and was always so thin.. If he had the mass to complement his length.. wow.

Great to see them bonding, Orpen son is a big boy. Hopefully they can become reliable partners, I am still a bit skeptical on that but let's see. The pride needs it but they also really need each other. Actually, the pride desperately needs new males for genetic diversity but that's another discussion.

Btw, on the Red Road footage from Tintswalo Virtual Safari: he is looking in great condition for his age. Still surviving after all these fights (he had face wounds just a few weeks ago.. I wonder what males he encountered). The video showed he was in middle Manyeleti, to the east of Main Dam.

Lambile in terms of height completly dwarfed Mandevu and was taller than Ncile IIRC , the only thing he never had was bulk ( atleast for the big majority of time)

Lambile even appeared, to me, to have been the largest framed male, from that generation of Nharhus, bigger than the three Tumbelas, I don't know much of the brother that was killed in Kruger before they took over the Othawas.

I had a question did Lambile have cubs?

Well, it appears that there was indeed an altercation between Mongawane and Tinstwalo right before Ncile's disapparance according to this video. Nice segment of questions by this guy.

First I've heard about the Nharus killing an Mbiri lioness. I knew they killed a cub but didn't know about that. Does anyone know which lioness, older, younger or sub?

I think i read somewhere that current members of Mbiri pride are 2 Matimbas, 3 Thanda Impis and 1 Orpen females, alongside few cubs.

Idk if that info is before or after that.
