That he was shot when him and his brother went into Kruger. No idea where the rumor came from or if there's any actual evidence to support it.

The legend is still here kicking, both him and Kruger Male back in the North.

This really reminded me of the scar that Dzwihala had under his left eye just before he disappeared, although in this it looks it might just be some dampness on Khanyas face. Just remembered this meant to go in the Avoca thread, if one of the mods could move it for me it’d be greatly appreciated!

I mean I don’t think lions killed him his brother was always the one being caught and beaten up plus he’s was an incredible looking male but I have zero evidence so I’ve never said anything who could’ve done it definitely wasn’t the gijimas

Why not lions? And why not Gijimas?

DM Talamati was more confident than his brother, often overconfidence without real support gets you killed.

We saw how 2 Kambulas got caught this year, its quite possible DM was in same scenario, with worse ending.

We dont know what happen, but we cant exclude anything, especially as other lions are most likely culprits, as thats how lions most often get killed in the wild.

Impossible to tell from this image, does he have any new injuries, signs he was attacked?

That’s true but I just don’t believe it. It very well might’ve been other lions but my heart just says otherwise in the wild you’ve gotten have a ton of luck and up until he and his brother got chased he had been lucky enough to never get caught alone the smaller brother survived a couple of times after he attacked I believe it to be true no body was found in southern sabi sands no new scars on the gijimas during that time and if not the gijimas then who the southern kambulas? I believe khanya was seen very far south I think

Nobody has mentioned anything like that, so it seems he’s completely fine.

Maybe he just needed to rest his tired bones for a little bit.

Looks like Chelas boy, getting harder to recognise him as his mane has really started to settle in.
