If Nkhulus don't become a bigger problem in the future, Gijimas are on the path to be extremely successful, having cubs with 3 different prides, all doing well.
Issue is that the territory is too small for so many prides, but it is working decently well so far, all things considered.

I think it would do them well to raise the current litters with one of the three prides successfully and then end up losing that same pride down the line. SP either to a KNP coalition or Talamatis to a Sabi Sand coalition which forces either pride to move either South (Southern Pride) or North (Talamatis). Two prides within that same territory is much more manageable. Ofc that’s a big ask for the Gijimas to successfully raise litters in all prides first.

I mean if they can hold for 2 more years, they could potentially leave everything for say Nkhulus, then move somehwere else where they could become territorial again at 9-10 years old, or retire depending on how badly they age.
Nkhulus if they have at least 4 members 2 years from now would be a good choice to control that area and give it stability.
2 years from now, all the Gijima cubs would be independent and their 2 older Southern daughters over 3yo, potentially able to mate already. Southern pride would have 5 females and a bunch of 2yo subs.
Not sure if MalaMala's estimations are correct but they claim many of the Sand River females are just 3yo, so Nkhulus might accept 3yo subs.
Even if Nkhuku doesn't accept 2, 2,5yo subs, theae independent subs can avoid them till they are ready.
Yeah I saw a video of at least 5 females and most of them looked very young I was kinda confused because I thought it was 2 mantimahle daughters and 2 Toulon daughters and a few southern avoca daughters
I believe the 2 Toulon ones died. One was killed by the Nkhulus in the early stages of the takeover, and the last one disappeared not long after her son was killed by Snip Tail. She didn't look so old, so not sure what happened to her. Never saw her deteriorating either.

guides at Kirkman's say the Nkhulus killed "multiple females" and ate them during the takeover.
Not sure about numbers or anything but i recall that being mentioned twice by guides
also the biggest group of Sand Rivers i've seen so far were 5 lionesses together
