There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

Quote:The largest Reticulated Python ever scientifically recorded was 8 meters long?

It was a female specimen killed on 12/16/2000 in the village of Duminanga on the island of Sulawesi in Indonesia, its skeleton was measured the following year by herpetologist Ruud de Lang at 7.50 meters in length, but the skull and the living specimen with the Fresh meat and skin are estimated to have been around 8 meters long in total.
