There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

Is that the one with one littermate sister, that were a kind of solo litter in the sense they had no peers as the other litters were too old or too young (like year plus apart) and they happened to be in between litter? Doing well it seems, nice!
One of the Birmingham breakaway young males photographed a few weeks ago at Shindzela Tented Camp
He is referred as Kovu and is one of the two biggest members of the Birmingham breakaway coalition.

Two three old months cubs including the white cub of the Birmingham pride -
There are around 9 cubs from 4 different females - we are still trying to work out the dynamic! But the white female has 3 of those 9 cubs and we think them to be around 3 months old Miki's Lane from Ngala. - Calden Smith from Ngala: There are 2 separate groups. One are a few weeks old now. The slightly older are now about a month I believe

For proper historical tracking how are we going to address the two segments of the pride?
There can’t be two Birmingham Prides.
I’m not a fan of calling this portion “Birmingham Breakaway” either since we already have another one if those too?
What do we call this part of the pride? The one w Mbiris versus those still w the sub adults and The Ross?
in my personal opinion. They should be known still as Birmingham pride. Sounds more than accurate that. Less confusion for people. Sooner or later they'll join to the main Birmingham pride. I doubt that they'll do that when Ross males are around but they will do

Thats very questionable.
Prides rarely rejoin when there are new cubs around who are unknown to other group.
