There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

Calling this group of Birmingham females a breakaway, will be so confusing, as we already have Birmingham breakaway pride..

Not "will be", but already is. I see calling this group a "Birmingham Breakaway" form months already...

"I finally got to see the white lioness ?… Just look at those eyes! Had her on the access road to Tamboti, with the Birmingham pride, and 2 adorable cubs, interacting with the lionesses & playing. She literally walked right by my car, and we had her in the road for ages. I shed a few tears, it was so amazing ? She’s also pregnant. My heart is so full right now. Just the Best birthday weekend! More photies & vids coming soon"

The older Birmingham Breakaway Pride seen on Tintswalo property.

Also 1/6 Breakaway Males seems to have come to visit them.  Now we know why only 5 were seen by Cristof on previous post

Great sighting of the mighty Birmingham breakaway pride. Two of the older females in this sighting

Yes, the majority are.   The oldest (now presumed deceased) was just a few months younger than Osindile and the others followed w litters through it and for up to a year afterwards.   The youngest are close in age to the white prince and tawnies

I do hope that the three that include the White Prince are able to get their own name eventually, and don't get stuck bearing the BBoys moniker. Those will be some mighty large shoes to fill, as well as leading to confusion with new Lion followers.

If they indeed establish themselves in Manyeleti, very likely Tintswalo crew will name them.
