The alliance of these two boys is a patch work to survive. Stepping up to Ndzhengas or PCMs is akin to dancing at the doors of death. At the first sign of trouble, they are running in different directions and then patching up later.  I suspect even the alliance of Blondie and Mohawk in the last few months of its existence is a much stronger one than this.

They just dont want to engage in fights which they know they cant win, as fairly new coalition, their bond and teamplay is not enough to beat big and confident males as PC's.

I dont think that means that Nhenha/NK are weak, i would pick PC males over most duos currently in whole Kruger, these boys are monsters.

A coalition of two males is never weak. What I am trying to say is out of all the coalitions of males in SS, they seem to be the weakest.. Around the same time last year, Blondie and Mohawk lost out to the 4 Ndzhengas but not without making a stand. These boys are running away without making a stand. I highly doubt they would carve out a territory anywhere long term.

They did make a stand, in first clash, Nhenha stand to 2 PCM's in a 1 vs 2, Nhenha was seen chasing PC males, standing to them and roaring in their face, PC males just isolate them, and the battle was lost.

You cant compare Mohawk and Blondie, who are together since their birth, and had such strong bond, to Nhenha and NK who are not together even 1 year and are 5 + yrs in age difference.

Well, as for territory for long term goes, Nhenha is almost 12 yrs old, even if they get territory now, its hard to imagen they will hold territory for couple of years together because of his age.

With Nhenha being 12 years old he’s a survivor, I’m sure he realizes getting in a fight could only hurt him.
He’s been trying to intimidate them away but now the PC males are calling him and Nk out. Their territorial lines are starting to solidify?? What’s the current overlap of their territories.
They have been actively trying to get rid of Tumbela too. I don’t think being cautious is weak. NK is following Nhenha lead and learning how to be a good dominant male that survives. Staying alive and healthy is a good way to protect his pride. I really hope Ginny and X lionesses can raise their Cubs!!

Any cool pictures of these chases or interactions?
I love NK new eye scar! I’m glad his eye wasn’t scratched.

Per Singita reports PC males were chassing around Nkuhuma and Nhenha without isolating them as well.

He compares resaults, how strong a different duos are. Your talk about causes this (if this is because of bond between Nkuchuma and Nhenha not being strong, or if this is for some other reason(s)) is a different matter.

They will have hard time carving any territory at all in SS. Currently competition in SS is not easy, quite a few young strong duos around (a bit reminds me peroid of 2015-2018). Also as you mentioned Nkuchuma/Nhenha did not well in competition against PC males so far. I agree with you that if Nhenha/Nkuchuma were to compete against any other duos in SS (PC, Gijimas, Black Dams, Southern Avocas), in neither case odds would be on their side.

It is not only about that they seem to be lossing to PC males, but also the way in which they are loosing. PC males are strong, but a decently strong duo would at least give PC males some hard time.

@Tr1x24 the information I read said there were 2 PCM roaring in Leopard Hills, and that there was also a sighting of Skorro Jr by the same source. The information came with a photo of the PCM sleeping. If nobody can confirm or post it I'll post the photo when I get home.

So I don't think the other PCM is missing or anything. Also what video of the older PCM are you referring to? Can you give me a link?

Edit never mind I found it.

Both males are accounted for by Singita.

Video was posted in "Lions of Sabi Sands" thread, on 769 page, where only 1 male was seen on the video, which doesnt mean that other was not there, i just found it strange that on 2 most recent videos we only saw 1 male.

This was the photo I was talking about, it was claimed to be the 2 PCM two days ago in Leopard Hills, but there was no information about who took it. It'll be great if somebody can confirm it's them and if it's really from two days ago.

I heard they were seen today in Inyati, last night Nhenha was roaring in Inyati. The PCM are doing their job but as always they seem unable to actually catch the Birminghams.

These two guys actually still have not confronted any male yet. Maybe they just look big and are not ready for a fight.

They have tried but no one seems to want to try them, even the Mantimahles didn't have this kind of notoriety and they were very feared in their prime years.
