Brahimlegend my friend, what does "reported" actually imply. I understand that Kruger doesn't practice veterinary intervention, so I am not sure what the response is to an incident like this. The injury sounds severe. Reply

Probably he reported it to local lodge or sanparks, but yeah as you said unlikely they would do anything Reply

Most likely they wont do anything. But they likely do still track what's going on when possible. 
They may still decide to intervene if human involvement is suspected or contagious deceases like rabies. Reply

You know, looking at him, I wonder if he may have been hit by a car. Look just there in the middle of his back, looks like what might be road rash, or even a car tire. The uniform shape of that area where the hair is missing just doesn't look natural, or like anything another animal would have done. There are no straight lines, or 90 degree angles, in nature, and that area of removed hair has straight lines on both sides.

Yeah we cant really decide since even within the relatively small amount of time between today and that sighting I mentioned something could have happened, such as @Duco Ndona said, they might have split. Reply

They were seen as 5 recently, haven't seen a sighting of them more than that lately. Reply
