Seems that there are 4 males 2 females in this sighting.
Yes, hopefully, the girls don't go further and that they will return to Londolozi along with their brothers.

@Tonpa was correct on the numbers of males and females

Will be interesting to see what future holds for these 4 boys, they are starting to navigate more towards eastern side of Sabi Sands and Kruger.

That area is not packt with territorial males, so i can see them as future contenders for that area and possibly Torchwood pride.

But you never know with nomads.

As for those 3 females, 1 is still fairly young and quite away from maturity, so i dont see her returning to Kambula pride, older sister still might return.

If they stick in that arena they will have plenty opportunitys and rather easy path to be kings. Northern Avocas from which only one is fully healty, lone dominant male with Torchwood pride, loners as well in Talamati and Nharu prides and the vacat Imbali pride. This arena looks like heaven for any young, up comming coalitions.

Apparently Kambula female #2 has returned to pride from the Kambula Childcare group and is close to Amahle

Is K2 not the breakaway lioness, who just lost her cubs?

Yes,   It’s Kambula 2 (the mother of most recently lost female cub).   Not Kambula YF2.

This would mean, that Kambula 3 is left alone now to raise her 2 Birmingham cubs by herself.

Such a rapid change in fortunes. Back when the Kambula attacked Tsalala female on that cliff (Mom), they were literally one of, if not the, biggest prides around. Now, little over a year later, and they are so spread out and dispersed all over the place, there is only one female from that original group to raise the last of the Birmingham cubs.

If things go along as it’s looking, there’s going to be a huge explosion of cubs in next few months.   The Pride as it’s shaping up now would consist of 5 of the original 6 elders and at least 3-4 of their daughters so it’s going to be MASSIVE.   I wouldn’t rule out a breakaway will shape out of in the end.

At least 2 young females are still not with the pride, but with the 4 younger male subs. The pride would be even bigger if they return.
