There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

Hope western rangers have mercy and euthanize him (althrough i dont think they do that, some areas do) , he will clearly not recover and will only suffer more, until eventually he will be killed off slowly by hyenas..

euthanize him? that's ridiculous. He's survived this long, he might recover. Euthanizing is only appropriate if an animal is badly injured with no chance of recovery and in excruciating pain.

Thats just facebook speculation I think. They declare lions death every month or so.

Limper also left and it did him good.

That's from a guide.
Even so if Limper has left that means Skorro jr has a big responsibility in protecting Othawa Pride on his own. We'll wait and see what happens.

The post I saw as evidence just mentions him not being seen for 4 days.

The facebook group is also putting pressure on them due to the whole scar coverup conspiracy. So guides may feel pressured to speculate.

Mostly that they have been covering up his condition from the general public and such and not give him special treatment etc.

Dominant Tumbela, Skorro Jr. seen this morning with full belly.   During this sighting, Neil first says that Scar is still alive with the Pride but later backtracks and says it was a second male, but they could not identify.  I spoke with a second guide and he told me Limper was seen with Skorro Jr yesterday.   so I’m wondering If it was actually limper or still possible it was Scar.

It could be both. Though for Scar to be confused with Limper it would mean he made a really speedy recovery and grew a nearly full mane really fast.

He said he couldn’t get a clear view due to brush and thickets.

In that case its probably Scar. Sick animals have a tendency to hide.

The Othawa pride have been living on the banks of the Sand river at Inyati. Finding plenty of food and drink.
