A long time without any updates on this legendary coalition. Have they all passed away?

They are now settled in the part of KNP from which there are no updates. 3 of them are dominant there as of last update, 1 is missing, most likely dead and the status of 5th Mantimahle which separated from his brothers is unknown.

Some photos: https://www.facebook.com/LionOfKruger/po...7266429103. I believe these are taken in the same period mentioned in my last post, Dec 2020, considering the bloodstain close to his month.

They are getting old, now living somewhere without many witnesses. Hope they are still doing good, and I sincerely pray for these beloved boys.

good to know two of the Plain Camp boys, sons of the Mantimahle males, are going stronger. They are beautiful rising stars of Sabie Sand.

One of the Mantimahle males was seen a few days ago by Elephant point on Latest Sightings Kruger FB page. At the moment, only three Mantimahle males were spotted this year. The dominant Mantimahle male was seen last month with two young males, Idk from which pride as they've moved their territory into other area. The 5th wasn't seen since last year and the other member known as "Honest-face" wasn't seen since the lockdown in the KNP, so, he's missing for over a year. yes, they're dominant over a pride and perhaps more

@"Timbavati" thanks for the info, I was just wondering how this legendary coalition is doing right now. Their legacy is carried on by PC males

Always a pleasure my friend... They ruled over a lot of prides over the years. Their  bloodline lives on the Sand River pride (2 young males were seen in KNP recently) 2 Plains camp males in Sabi Sands, two S36/Mantimahle young males that were seen with the 5th Mantimahle, A lot of subadults males on the Nkuhlu pride etc etc. The dominant Mantimahle male was spotted on April with a pride on Renosterkoppies with a bunch of subadults.
