A gaur train - easily the largest gaur herd in India that I have seen.



Kabini road block, massive horns.



Gaur in Valmiki Tiger Reserve (Terai). There are about 150 gaur in VTR.

@Rage2277, I remember you posted this gaur in the tiger predation thread (post #1990):

   

He was still a growing adult when a tiger attacked him. This is what he looks like today (about 10 months):



Looks like he has added 150 kilos or so. Doubt the same tiger is going to try taking him down now.

wow that's awesome..assumed he died eventually, what tough animals..he was looking down bad in that photo.
