Fully grown male gaurs remind me of silver back among other gorilla, they look so massive then the others. Those muscle in them are insane.

And are bigger in the wild!  In the book of Dr Dinerstein of 2003 there are a couple of pictures that shows huge specimens. I think you have it too. In regards to his size, I'm 6'5'' and I'd say at his shoulder he was probably about 6'. He was really long too, seemed to be as a long as a Jeep Cherokee and just about as wide as the wheel base. He was absolutely gigantic, they were getting rid of him because the female had a calf and he was becoming too dangerous in trying to breed again so they sold him to another zoo for breeding.
Is this a real or fake image, not trying to discredit the photographer bt i couldnt find more clicks of this supposedly 'very rare interaction' of megaherbivores

Don’t think this is fake. Manas does have all the big 4 herbivores of Indian subcontinent. Gaurs typically don’t venture into the long grass and they prefer wooded areas.
Even Kaziranga has a small Gaur population. But, they are very rarely seen like Kaziranga leopards. |
