There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

As we were nearing the end of our morning safari, we found these two young male lions resting near a termite mound, taking advantage of the cooler weather.

Funny how they changed in face structure, Nkuhuma without mane always looked like Nsuku to me, but now he looks more and more like Mfumo/Tinyo..

While Styx opposite, he looked like Mfumo, but now he looks more like Nhenha..

It will be clearer when they develop full manes.

Yes, 4 cubs where born in August 2019, only 2 are still alive, 1 male and 1 female..

He is still much younger/smaller then his 5 bigger brothers, and its unknown if he will be old enough when those 5 older ones leave the pride..

Impressive Torchwood young male on WildEarth :

*This image is copyright of its original author

This boy needs to find partners, his chances to become dominant as a lone male are very slim in Sabi Sands as i dont think he will get lucky like OM to find pride without dominant males, but he also could easily leave Sabi Sands and move east into Kruger to try his luck, which would be shame as he is already beautiful specimen..

Currently northern Sabi Sands and southern Manyeleti is also ruled by single males so he has a chance if he is storng enough to compete with DM and Imbali male. It would be intresting if he would meet up and join forces with young Plans Camp males.
