There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

The styx male has a very distinctive flick on the top of his mane, great looking lion. Loved that video of the pair, put a smile on my face

Yep, althrough they are only together for around a year, I think these guys formed very strong bond in between each others.

Also, with demise of OM and with Bboys ageing, they are in great position to secure territory for themselves in Sabi Sands in near future.

Not sure, the Mhangenis were last seen in Savanna which borders Singita but both properties are quite big

Sub-adults of the Kambula pride entertaining themselves with a branch, a form of play which is vital for their development and to hone their hunting skills.

The Torchwood male, a lion which is  occasionally seen on MalaMala's northwestern section of the reserve. From all the male lions I've seen at MalaMala, this male in my opinion is the most photogenic of them all. A photographer's delight!
