There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

[/color]JHALANA - A TERRITORY WORTH GOLD As per the current count, the 20 Sqkm of Jhalana forests is home to 32 Leopards (4 adult males, 10 adult females, 5 subadult males, 8 sub adult females and 5 cubs). This very high density of Leopard makes every inch of the territory that each Leopard holds worth gold. Skirmishes are high and the battle scars and fresh wounds are testimony to the fact that Leopards will compete tooth and nail (in literal sense here) to hold on to their territory. In the forest their real "Jar" is their "Joru" and "Jameen"
