There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

"This large male must have had a fight with a caiman or another Jaguar which lipped open its lower lip."

I've seen that picture but I didn't know it was recent. It's cool that he's still alive, he doesn't look to be in bad shape at all. Do you know exactly when the picture was taken?

To me, Gage's canines look very long for a jaguar. He even looks like saberooth in the first picture. I wonder if that's because of a lip injury.

( This post was last modified: 10-23-2020, 02:40 PM by Balam Edit Reason: Embeded the video )

Excellent recent clip of la Aurora Reserve done by Panthera, featuring the jaguars Totin, Faculto, Mararay, Guanota etc. And the fauna of the area: White tailed deer, Orinoco crocodiles, anacondas, wild horses, etc.

It's nice to see the high-quality footage of Faculto.
