There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

The young leopardess Xongile from the #SabiSands Reserve in South Africa. You know you’re close when you’re close enough to see the reflection of your vehicle in the animals eyes! (Dec. 2016

The Nchila male leopard balances above his impala kill.

He subsequently lost his carcass to a rival male leopard - life is not easy as a nomadic leopard without a territory to call your own.

" The young Kigelia female has done an exceptional job at flying low under the radar as she nurtures her cub with great success. However, we were lucky enough this morning to catch up with her and spend a little time enjoying her company as she warmed up in the morning sun. "

" After lazing around in the road yesterday, we followed up on this male leopard and to our surprise, he had made a duiker kill which he hoisted high up in a Marula tree. "

" Yesterday morning, we followed up on some tracks seen around Selati Camp. We were fortunate enough to find the young White Dam male leopard on the move and possibly looking for a meal. Because of the unseasonal rain we are receiving at the moment, he stuck to the road and didn't venture into any long grass. "

" Just as morning safari was coming to a close, we spotted Maxabeni on a territorial patrol. We followed up on him in the afternoon and he was still moving around, possibly looking for a meal. "
