That was so drastic... I thought the other two Nharu Males were in excellent condition. Could he be the dead lion they found?

Walkers River Camp is quite far from Nharhu males territory so it iis probably not him althrough since we can remember Junior Nkuchuma who also moved far away from his territory to take his last breath it is not immpossible that found dead lion could be Nharhu male.

I dont think so, as dead male was found around Kambaku area.

RE: Lions of Timbavati - Gijima - 04-10-2021

@Potato @Tr1x24 Ok thanks for clarifying the location. That would be even worse though... it means there’s a potential of two young males dying of some unknown illness in the same area. Both with small cubs too.

What? Thats even worse news..

A lot of young lions with health problems around..

That's Mpohlo the oldest member

Does that mean there's only 1 healthy male left? What a shame, not looking good for their cubs.

At the moment the three Nharhu males are still alive, however, one of them was seen in bad shape lately

It is not that terrible. Even down to 2 males Nharhu should be fine. Limping male is doing alright and was recently even in the pursuit of Dundee male and Balule lionesses.

Sad to see the strongest nharhu like that. And Monwanas likely death. Big losses

RE: Lions of Timbavati - T I N O - 04-10-2021

The Skorro breakaway members were seen this morning at Ngala with Marcus and Mpho on camera.

RE: Lions of Timbavati - T I N O - 04-10-2021

The three Skorro breakaway sub-adults were seen this morning at AndBeyond Ngala Private Game Reserve in the same area of where they were seen a few weeks ago. Unfortunately, the second young male wasn't seen with this group.

I couldn't be more agree. Today, Xitaya and Skorokoro were seen this morning with the River pride

Hope these guys will try to claim some territory soon, Hercules might be still young, but Sumatra doesnt have too many years left in his tank he is prob turning 10 yrs old soon..

RE: Lions of Timbavati - Potato - 04-11-2021

I hope they will stick around Shindzela as Avoca pride would be a perfect fit for them. This young fella also was seen in the arena:
