Saw someone mention this is apparently the Singwe pride, it's a small pride that is supposedly controlled by one of the Machaton males.
Volume warning, there's a baboon alarm calling right beside the camera

Could be, since the  Machaton males sired some sub-adults males in the Singwe pride

Which ones?
Brett Marneweck has told me that the Torchwood was more aggressive than the Birmingham young male.

On base of what?

Ngl, it's almost like you're nitpicking

1. He didn't chased the Birmingham Subs alone? There is literally picture evidence of him and him alone right behind them marking trees and following them on this thread. Yes the Birmingham Male might have participated but it's clear who the instigator was.
2.  With the lioness, the fact that he was said to be keeping the Birmingham Young Male away from her by actual guides is literally making your point invalid yet you're nitpicking to make it less factual.
3. Who said he was more aggressive? Ziggi Hugo said it and Brett Marnewick said it. Both of which have been our regular undates on the two. Again, nitpicking to make it less factual.

Other showings of aggressive behavior are him instigating the chase on Hyenas and even the first video of them hunting a Buffalo together shows the Torchwood Male growl aggressively at the Birmingham Male whilst starting to eat.

You make totally no sense in all those points beside point 2. I Torchwood would beat up BIrmingham in fight for mating rights then of course it you be showing that he is more dominant one, althrough since we do not know if that Avoca female was willling to mate then in the end it is not prove that Torchwood is more dominant of the two. Arguing that growl at the kill is a prove to Torchwood be more agressive or that he chasse after Birmingham subs makes no sense what so ever. Any lion growls at the kill, any male and many females will chasse hyenas and any adult male and some females somethimes as well will chasse nomadic subadults. Those are just ordinary stuff.
How do I make no sense? Chasing lions doesn't show aggressive behavior? Seriously? What would, him killing them? And I'm just giving you an example on why the guides would think he is the more aggressive of the two. I never said he was the most unusual lion of all time. Stop nitpicking. You're trying to find holes in what actual guides are saying and it's pointless. I also never said dominance meant aggressive behavior but you can tell when one lion is showing more attitude than another in any circumstance. You're not a guide or ranger, why are you trying so hard to make yourself sound smarter?

Only time will tell how this new coalition will develop, Without a doubt, would be interesting follow these them in the coming years. Especially, if they will settled around Shindzela and Makanyi region where we will get a lot of updates from Johan, Brett, Rico, Ziggi and a plenty of others rangers.

These males have recently shown the Nharhu males and the rest of the River Pride who the new king of the bush veld is. It seems as though nothing will stand in their way of claiming new territory and being the dominant force in the area. Who knows what may happen next. He adapted his behavior to these circumstances.

Now he is himself part of a colalition and is confronted with the circumstances, which arise from it.
Torchwood male has known this a little longer and is perhaps less accommodating than BYM.

We will see what it will give, when they are really territorial males.

We also know, that dominance relationships can vary in a coalition.
So let's not speculate too early and let's observe.

I agree with you, and although I'm not an expert, I would also like to add that according to the documentaries of Mapogo coalition, Mr. T and Kinky Tail were the most aggressive lions in the coalition but Makulu was the dominant/leader because he showed uncommon/smart behavior compared to other lions. For example, Makulu was very submissive in order to be accepted by the Spartan pride, which perhaps enabled him to better lead such a ferocious coalition.

Makulu appears to know how to behave and adapt according to the circumstances. Greetings.

During the month of September we had some great sightings of the Birmingham young male and his new coalition partner the Torchwood male.
The Birmingham young male is a little bit bigger than the Torchwood male. Although the Torchwood male has got the bigger mane.

Beautiful shots! Love these close-ups of these gorgeous males. And I'm happy to see them back together after a brief separation earlier this week. Hopefully they will always stick together, no matter what.
