The Matimba coalition

Blog for September/October 2018. The Matimba males have been following the Ottawa pride constantly, and as they are nearing the end of their reign, it seems that the only thing that they are interested in is getting free food. They have accepted the cubs, whose fathers were the Majingilane, as their own, and do not roam their territory far and wide to check for intruders. They are content to follow the females and take over any of the kills that they happen to make. Hb after the fight with avocas was not the same lion again.i wounder if he is older than ginger and this is the reason he loose faster all that mass!!
@George greek it might have been the Majingilanes you were thinking of, when HB was double or triple teamed and copped some wounds on the spine and hindquarters, he took a very long time to recover from.

Ginger and hb are the connection to mapogos-majingilane and the new area!!iI wiss we have them with us for one-two years more their come backs are historical but I am worried more about hb this time ginger is in beter condition. They are pressumed to be born late 2005 or early 2006 so they are about exactly 13 years old.
