@Fredymrt

About #868: Incredibile, beautiful black & white photos ! When I see the first one, I think that the lions don't fear the falls at all. Even under a prey's body a lot of heavier than them (twice as much)...

amazing stuff, it seems tables have turned. The avocas found new confidence and the Tsalala's confidence are really low now. I guess its a good thing that they know when to fight or not to engaged. they are banged up and probably their bonds are not that strong right now. The dynamics in that area is interesting.

https://youtu.be/8mMXIRADl2A Here's the link of the avoca males looking for the tsala males. Wait until the tsala males regroup and we will definitely see a rematch.

Hopefully they find the other brother before the avocas do. Just get healthy and re enforce their bond. It seems that the bond within the coalition its not that strong after they got seperated. It is the second time someone got seperated after a fight. Their fathers were not the biggest and the strongest, their bond is so strong thats why they are still kings. Its just my opinion. hopefully I dont get flame about majingis are just lucky this and that. peace!

The lone,third Tsalala/Marthly male, although looking visibly unharmed, lay in an open area still looking shaken up by his recent ordeal at the hands of the Avoca males.

MALAMALA TODAY: September 5th. More often than not we see hyenas in ones or twos roaming about or waiting at the base of a tree with a leopard and a kill in it. At den sites we see more but that mostly consists of youngsters. Then, every now and then, normally in the presence of lions with a large carcass, we're reminded just how big these clans are and how far they range. This was case again today when we found the Marthly pride in the Mlowathi River near Mlowathi Koppies- they all had full bellies. One of the lionesses got up and walked west towards an area where many vultures were descending. Our eyes were met by 17 hyenas devouring what was left of a buffalo kill. The lioness took one look at the raucous crowd and turned away. Presumably the lions had made the kill and were eventually chased off by the hyenas. Other lions: 2 of the Gowrie males were viewed at Mlowathi Dam. 4 of the Mantimahle males have a buffalo kill just south of Rocky Crossing

Sabi Sabi Game Reserve — Last night and this morning we found six lionesses moving through the area and while doing so, they scent marked around almost every corner.
They are Kambula pride females
