There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

Cleopatra and Scarface.

For years they have dominated the backwaters and raised a flurry of cubs together. Watching their relationship grow over the years has been one of the highlights of my life. It is uncommon to see such loyalty between cats but for the past decade, these two have stayed true to each other. Scarface, like any male, loves to wonder but to see Cleo stay loyal to him, is something very special and magically uncommon. Usually females will mate with multiple males so their cubs have a higher chance of survival. I’ve seen this with Boor, Storm, Marble, Katte and other females but never have i ever seen Cleo mate with anyone else but Scarface. They are the reason why i chose to dedicate my life to this forest.

Here’s a picture of them having a routine squabble over the tricky art of love making on a tree. Here’s to many more love bites and cubs!

The panther is a very solitary animal, and usually lives, hunts and travels alone.

This one was seen this past weekend in the morning in Kabini.
Panthers are very well camouflaged, if you don't look carefully, you might miss them.

A moment when you can hear the silence, when you can listen the pounding of your heart, when you cann't take your eyes off the view finder ...such a moment was that.....reliving that moment.

Boldest guy of kabini and people call him as a torn ears..One of the best trip in my life at kabini. As soon as we entered into the safari zone for the morning first safari the forest was very silent not even any alaram call was heard and we came out of the safari and started our second safari, just like a first safari the forest was very calm and silent and at 9am we drived towards the tiger tank area and there we saw the tiger tank tigress drinking water and quenching her thirst while this was happening at the right side of our vehicle and there the magic happens at the left side here cums the hero of the kabini torn ears and gave us a staring luk for a secs and it walked on the opposite side and he also came nearer to the tiger tank waterhole then he saw the presence of the tigeress and sat calmly and watching the tigeress to move from the water hole, since the tiger tank's cub was sitting inside the bushes the mother got up from the waterhole and went into the bushes and our safari time ended so we left the leopard and moves with the happy faces..My big thanks to Robin Son bro for giving me this great opportunity..I just called him before a day to him and asked bro shall we goh kabini tmrw and he said ok and he put his great effort to provide me a safaris and awesome sighting.. Luv u bro..Waiting for our next trip..
