There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

@lioncrazy by a brawl I simply mean a physical confrontation, I don't mean it in an anthropomorphic sense at all.

Let me start by saying we never mentioned who exactly we have seen as soon as we got out on the vehicles and saw the Lions running over our open area. ... it was chaos and first I didn't even know how many males there were and there is no way that any of us knew who was who. I remember still that the guys at first thought it was Mr T that was being mauled by the Majingis. None of us witnessed the fight from the start ...

Why did they think it was Mr T??
Mr T was not injured, KT was injured and more vulnerable.

I believe it's because it was very dark and they couldn't spot the other brother to identify by exclusion.

A Majingilane male moves through an open area on a moonless night, roaring in an attempt to find his two brothers who had split from him a few days before.

now is time to majingilanes get back to west and start to mate with the ximhungwes. the ximhungwes are younger, stronger and helthier to produce good cubs with majingis. i hope majingilanes give security and instability to them in the west.

Splitting up like they have now done could lead to the demise of this legendary Majingelane coalition - like others before them. Only time will tell. Walking alone for any male is dangerous, no matter how strong or experienced he is.

Yup, But the problem is they must be able to hang on to power till cubs become independent. Same the case with Othawas.

I heard that the 2 mangheni males and the 1 talamati male have taken over territory in Nyamundwa. What happened to the 3rd mangheni male?
