Legend himself !

For a ~13 (maybe more) yrs old lion, and nomad aswell, he looks unbelievable, elite genes right there.

I hope some of his offspring over the years made it to adulthood, it would be shame if these genes where not spread.

did they father any cubs him and easterbank male they have have some offsprings so is eater bank still alive ?

He is looking in top shape considering he's 15 years old. He is still with the Phabeni/Shitlhave dam males?

Beautiful boys! Wow 4 ways Blondie looks like loonkito a bit. Both look good and healthy. Glad they found a partnership together…always breaks my heart for old lions to starve and die alone.
What’s their story?
Thank you everyone this is a great community.

Fourways?

He is actually not Fourways, he and his brother joined Fourways pride (who was at that time regular pride in Sabi Sands) around 2013.

Origins of the 2 are unknown, but new young pride with 2 sub males (them) and 4-5 sub females was starting to be seen around northern Sabi Sands (on eastern border with Kruger) around 2012, that pride might be beginnings of Torchwood pride, thus 2 males might actually be Torchwood males, but still no 100% evidence, as i tried to compare whiskers of females, but pictures where not in greatest resolution for that. From where they came and who sired those subs is unknown, some say it might Gijima or Manyeleti males, who hanged around north and Manyeleti around 2009/10, but as i said, no evidence whatsoever.

Regardless, 2 males joined Fourways in 2013 (prob because Matimbas ousted them from their sisters) and formed a coalition with Fourways young male, DM, son of Majingilanes.

They become nomads and in 2014 they went north and challenged 2 prime monstrus S.Matimbas, which was disaster, as clash happened and 2 Matimbas catched and badly mauled 1 of 2 brothers, other brother and DM managed to escape (theres famous video of that battle), that male died from injuries few days later.

2 remaining males, DM and Blondie moved of and went south towards Sabi Sabi, in beginning of 2015 they took advantage of 3 Sand River males moving off into Kruger and they took some part of Southern pride. That lasted thru 2015, but with beginning of 2016, 2 massive Charleston males started to venture into their territory and eventually ousted Fourways, who went into Kruger.

In Kruger they establish themselves around Transport Dam.

DM was last seen in late 2019, limping and looking in bad condition.

As lone male, Blondie was ousted in 2020 by 2 H2-2/Transport Dam males (famous Scar nosed male and his bro).

At the beginning of 2021, Blondie was seen near Phabeni Gate with 3 young males (named Phabeni males) its unknown if they are related to him or not.

Shortly after in 2021 they become territorial around Phabeni and Shitlave Dam/Pretoriuskop areas.
