"Three of the Majingilane were found in the heart of Londolozi, lying on the airstrip one rainy morning, after what we can only assume was another confrontation with the Matimba males as both parties had fresh wounds. hip scar probably have stayed with the pride because he has a bad hip, he fall from a tree when he was younger.

I think Golden Mane for sure, because of the pic, but I don't know about the others. As for Hip Scar's injury, I don't think that fall injured him, I think it's older than that, maybe from a hunt.
A little update from Trevor McCall-Peat, ranger of londolozi:
the two Matimba males were separated two nights ago we assume due to the Majingilane males. Three majingilane males crossed into Londolozi and at some time during the evening of the 16th they met up with the darker maned Matimba male. The Darker maned Matimba male has a slightly swollen nose with a cut and the scar nosed majingilane male was bleeding from the mouth while the dark maned majingilane male was bleeding from the mouth as well as a swollen back right foot.
So it seems to me that these fights have been on the timid side compared to what we expect I mean this because no casualties or real bad injury this is interesting that the majigilanes keeping coming to londolozi to fight but not kill these matimba males
I think that if there will be a really fight between the two coalition, Majinglanes will suffers serious damage, also Matimba was outnumbered. Hip Scar and Scar Nose are in bad condition, probably they won't hold up the fight. Though Matimba are outnumbered, for Majingilanes will be very hard to fight.

I was going to ask the same question I don't think scar nose has ever been in bad shape I just think it's interesting the type of fights these males are involved in
Also @majingilane I know fb is not a real good and half the time is bs and peoples opinions rather than fact but I read that on a safari live that hip scar is dead?!?! Now I don't belive it but just wondering if you have heard this or has anyone seen hip scar lately?

It's really not up to us to speculate the events of the fight as even the rangers couldn't be certain. So let's just be patient and wait for the situation to unfold further. The defination of courage is subjective. In your case, you define it as the willingness to fight against the odds and none other than Kinky Tail or Mr T will do that. To me that is a very one dimensional view. We should instead look at things in a bigger perspective or at least at a different angle. For example, when the Mapogos started their rampage and ran riot, many males knowing from their vocal exchange that six intruders are approaching, stood their ground even though they eventually fall. By your defination, it would be appropriate for me to classify these males in the same league as Kinky Tail or Mr T if not better, thus it's not just Kinky Tail or Mr T who is willing to put up a fight when heavily outnumbered. So again based on your standards, to say that the Matimbas can't fight 2 vs 5 would mean that they ain't courageous. In my opinion, to bring down a Cape buffalo 3 times their size requires as much courage and so I would like think that all lions are courageous. I often feel unjust for the Majingilanes because fighting outnumbered opponents doesn't make them less courageous besides in most cases it is not a matter of choice.
