And I wanted to know if their were any specific lion prides I should be on the look out for or ask questions about?

In Central Serengeti there is the famous Seronera pride near the river by the same name, they have been continuously studied since the mid 60's, and the tree-climbing lions in the close woodlands. If you make it to the Kopje areas there is the Naabi Hills pride.
In Ngorongoro the Marsh pride are large lions that hunt buffalo , the other prides live in more dense areas.
Tarangire area is mainly woodlands and riverine forests seeing lions is difficult but I hope you see some.
Arusha has no lions.
