What is your next favorite thing?

We all are here becasue in some or other way we relate each other due to our love and curiosity for nature and wild animals.
In this thread I am in mission of finding your other interest. So that we can know how many of us share same common passion for life other than wildlife and animals. So my question is what other things you like to read, write, watch, search and talk on internet ?? I mean their are lots of other industry/fields which may be worth of an hour? 2 hours ? or entire day ? from your daily life ? Here are few of the listed items that coming right on the top of my head 01. Gadget (Mobile, drone, VR, GPS etc..) This industry has most attention by young people and newer generation. I am also one of them and my current favorite is Drones. I love to see them and read about them. 02. Gaming (PC or mobile game) Not my cup of tea, I have played some games (Project IGI) but I was never a good gamer and I never wanted to be. But I am sure many of you have lot to talk on this. 03. Movies, Super hero, WWE, Action, Music, Superman, batman, Ironman, animation movies. Well, I like to watch animation movie most, but my friends are more inclined towards Marvel and DC movies. They tell me lot of stuffs so sometime I watch them. WWE ? I think its only for amateur one 04. Football, Baseball, NBA, Cricket, any sport. Since I am Indian, Cricket used to be my favorite game, but over the last few years I have no interest in it. I barely watch it. Football?? I sometime show my curiosity to know the winner.. To be honest I am not big fan. 05. Love to read about Trump, Sriya, terrorist, Putin vs Trump, China vs US, India vs Pakistan. Some major news attract me and I discuss these issue on other place, but I can not do it more than 10 minutes... becasue it always result in bad atmosphere 06. Travel I wish I could but its expensive industry for me. I want to travel and talk about Africa and wildlife.. But the money... 07. Food I am fan of drinks more than eating.. I love to try different type of local drinks specially made in hot summer. Wish I could write a blog in it and can share with all of you. I keep discussing with my wife. 08. Website creation, WordPress, themes and plugin, Website hosting This is my profession so, I love to talk about them, even I consult for free while suggesting best hosting company, what is best wordpress theme.. etc 09. Startups businesses. This is the era of new startups and investor. Young college people come with Idea and they try to find investor to make it reality. I love to read about them and I heavily discuss about them 10. online shopping, amazon, ebay etc. I find this is time consuming and extravagance activity. But since I love gadget and I keep searching these sites for them This is some common and popular Niche or industry where your interest may lie and you will love to talk, read, watch and write about them with other. You can also mention your own if I missed them. Why I am asking this ? Well, I want to find most common interest so that I can launch another well managed and highly resourceful community of people on internet. What do you say ? 
01. Gadget (Mobile, drone, VR, GPS etc..)
Unfortunately my Phone, it seems like I'm on it far more than I would like to be. 02. Gaming (PC or mobile game) I'm not much of a gamer but I do play Pool and Marvel Champions on my phone. 03. Movies, Super hero, WWE, Action, Music, Superman, batman, Ironman, animation movies. I'm a huge comic book fan, most of my favorite animes from when I was a kid have ended but Naruto and Dragon ball are still around. 04. Football, Baseball, NBA, Cricket, any sport. I'm a huge sports fan. My teams are as follows MLB-Giants NBA-Lakers NFL-Raiders I'm not much of a college sports fan or Hockey but I do watch them from time to time, especially during tournaments or playoffs. I'm a huge UFC/MMA fan as well, I've been a boxer/fighter since I was 19, I no longer practice any martial arts outside of hitting the bag or helping fighters/friends who have fights coming up, but I still watch most combat sports. 05.Politics I'm extremely interested in most politics and world events. My biggest passion is climate change/environmental changes and space. 06. Travel I'm a travel fiend. It has by far been my best personal growth device. The more places I see the more connected to the world I feel. I know it's expensive but to any one thinking about it, I say go for it! You only live once and better to die financially broke while rich in spirit. You will not regret it, I promise! 07. Food and Drink I love all foods, I'll try anything and most of the time I'll enjoy it. I'm also a huge beer/liquor fan (probably too much) but what can I say, I like to have a good time with my friends and we've all been into partying since we were in high school. 08. Business Expertise I'm an entrepreneur. My expertise is in sales, project management, interior design and all the other hats you must wear while owning your own business. 09. Hobbies I play Pool, go to the gym, travel, party with friends and play sports (you name it, I've played it) 10. online shopping, amazon, ebay etc. Like most people, I probably do too much of it. The convience it offers as well as the ideas you get from it are fun. But I still enjoy walking into a store and "kicking the tires"

I am on my phone plenty of times a day, although opposite of many youngsters regarding smartphones, I spend much more time on the desktop than the actual phone. I don't really care for latest technologies, I care more for personal passion (nature, exercising, entertaining others...). 02. Gaming (PC or mobile game) I do this a lot. Still do so for my YouTube channel and I love it. I am not much into mainstream games (but will still play them, only a bit though), but I like smaller-scale, yet thoroughly-developed indie (especially horror!) games. Used to indulge in Call of Duty and Battlefield when I was a few years younger: now FPS's don't interest me as much, if at all. 03. Movies, Super hero, WWE, Action, Music, Superman, batman, Ironman, animation movies. Used to like WWE, especially during the "Attitude Era" when the Rock was introduced! But ever since then WWE has gone downhill in my opinion. I liked both Star Wars and Batman a lot when I was younger, and now I am more of a YouTube and Netflix person. Movies don't appeal to me as much as they used to. Love anime, though. Bleach was my number one back then with Naruto a close second. However, I like the newer, smaller-scale anime now such as Night Raid 1931, Darker Than Black, and Steins;Gate. 04. Football, Baseball, NBA, Cricket, any sport. Always loved fighting and fought in my local ring for one-year-and-a-half: (I think I was born for it, who knows?), PRIDE, IFC/WVC (Igor Vovchanchyn!), and K-1 were all the golden age of MMA for me, and I hope RIZIN will bring the same pride (haha, get it?) back from its previous installment to this one. If I consider an extended MMA career in the future, then Fedor would've been my biggest inspiration. Not really interested in mainstream sports such as baseball, football, or soccer, but I will always watch the FIFA every time it comes on and, occasionally, both the Winter and Summer Olympics (sometimes). 05. Love to read about Trump, Sriya, terrorist, Putin vs Trump, China vs US, India vs Pakistan. Sometimes, I might divulge into politics, assuming that I am not already hot-headed. I don't really like to think on the mass media scale (many false information and "agenda"-based strategies, rather than information for the sake of protection or enjoyment). Politics, most of the times, brings me into a state of disrepair (even thinking about it), so I barely get into politics. I respect the support of various issues including men's rights, environmental cleanup, and animal/habitat restoration, as well as the movement to limit technology growth. Bleak future with too much technology, and not enough personal harmony with each other. 06. Travel I was a travel freak with my family when I was younger. My experiences have been profound, and I've learned more from visiting the natural world in those parks and countries than I did in the industrial/urban/rural centers of those countries. Many people go to countries to visit the well-known centers, but I am the exact opposite. I learn more from the nature than the people or customs around, which is unusual. 07. Food The relationship I have with food is similar to the relationship that a bear has with food right before hibernation. I just gobble everything up I can find (while eliminating the excess calories, of course.) 08. Website creation, WordPress, themes and plugin, Website hosting I will definitely create a website for my YouTube channel as it grows (I know HTML/CSS a bit) with the help of a co-developer, but that is quite in the future. I don't know about WordPress, though. 09. Startups businesses. I am an aspiring YouTuber, if that can be considered a business on its own. Unfortunately, though, I will become a "wage slave" to my profession for a few years after I graduate with my B.S.E degree. I should consider freelancing, merchandise stores, and other startups mainly based on my YouTube channel. My main financial goal for life (regardless of circumstances) is to make my self-employment/business income over-exceed the income I earn from the job. 10. online shopping, amazon, ebay etc. Almost never. I almost always go to the local store: more reliable, less chance of getting scammed, like getting my ass up and actually getting things (it feels more natural). Basically, online shopping (or anything that requires an excessive use of technology) feels quite fake to me.
I always do, not that it's my final decision making factor, but it does help to see others who find it useful.
I would like to add
1. I am interested in mobile smart phones and how quickly they have been adopted by the world as I still rember when they where first introduced. 2. The nintendo switch has been a amazing console gaming platform that I play regulary. 3. Love reading manga and occasionally some gaming related lore . 4. not really interested in sport as a whole. 5. Since I am partially from the middle east I keep up with events happening within it . 6. This covid 19 pandemic has put a halt to travel but otherwise I have loved traveling . 7. Latley been enjoying eating korean cuisine . 
01. Try to spend as much quality time as is possible with my family, wife, our daughter and son in-law, and our grandchildren
Family is of the utmost importance, without their support I would not have accomplished any of what I did in my life. When it is your own children, sadly, we often are too focused on our responsibilities to teach, provide for, and take care of them, to take in the important moments. Grandchildren are an opportunity to relax and appreciate those little things so much more. 02. Gaming (PC or console game) I have been gaming since the early 70's, when the very first video games (back then the first one I remember was called Racer, and was a literal black screen, with a white outline resembling a car, and white dots that passed along side of it, sometimes curving) I play just about every genre, on just about every platform except mobile, phones are for calls :). The genre preferences change over time, with right now the majority of the games I have been playing being primarily RTS. I currently have all of the big 3 consoles, and a stacked water cooled gaming PC. 03. RC trucks and Drones I have a few of these. A Traxxas TRX4 Traxx, and a RedCat Gen8 Axe that I drive around with my oldest grandson (who just so happened he recently signed up on Wildfact, as he loves animals, currently focusing on sharks), and I have a few drones, with the primary being a DJI Mavic 2 Pro that takes stunning videos and photos. 04. MMA I used to watch a lot of sports, baseball, American Football (primarily college), etc. Now, for the most part, I only watch MMA, primarily the UFC. 05. Travel I have done tremendous travelling in my lifetime, been on just about every continent except Australia, at one point or another. Some because my father was working there, some for pleasure, some for my own work. These days travel is almost nonexistent, but I do still dream of going on a lengthy safari one of these days, before it is too late. That is the one thing I have not done yet, on my bucket list. 06. PCs and Networking Always had a huge interest in electronics and the like. One of the first things I always did as a child was to tear things apart to understand how they worked, and started building my own PCs and tinkering, which lead to getting into the IT industry, after having spent 10 years in another totally different industry, getting my first Cisco CCNA and Microsoft MCSE (NT 4.0) in 1997, only advancing from there. One of the jobs I have had that took me to places around the world. A few others, but I don't want to upset anyone that might not appreciate them :), but nothing that is at all bad or illegal. As mentioned before, my preference is camera phones. Having played Mortal Kombat X in the past, I don't play games nowadays. 3. Am a Marvel fan, though I like DC movies too!. Am more of an anime and manga fan, also Gothic horror movies such as Dracula movies, Werewolves etc. I watched anime such as Naruto, Dragonball, HellSing, Code geass, DeathNote etc as well as OTT series on Netflix!. 4. Am not a sports enthusiast, but I like workouts, running, swimming etc.I liked cricket a lot, but not nowadays. 5. Not interested in politics. 6. Not a travel freak!. Am yet to visit national parks or reserves in india. So far, I haven't been able to do it due to various issues., But will soon persue that. 7. Am a foodie. I like international as well as local Indian cuisine and have a habit of visiting diverse restaurants each week and trying out new delicacies!. 8. No knowledge about these at all!. 9.no idea so far. 10. Will try out online shopping for books. I am one of those minorities who love shopping offline rather than online. Only books are ordered online. |
