There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

Shaaz Jung: " The roar of a tiger is undoubtedly the most powerful sound I’ve ever heard. But what fascinates me is how, we as humans, can’t hear frequencies below 20hertz. This infrasound can travel huge distances and can cut through dense forests and mountains with ease. Some studies have shown that they can produce sounds at 18 hertz and even lower when roaring. How incredible, to be in a forest, where animals are always communicating, and not always hear them. "

@Rage2277, the tigress in frame is Baras from Pench (Handsome male’s daughter). Any idea who the male is?

Could be her brother, I always wondered what happened to him and the other sister.

@Pckts, I am guessing the same thing that happened to Umarpani’s brother and sister. I mean, Umarpani was the least impressive of the litter and yet he is the only one who survived.

Doubtful that it’s her brother. It’s a shy young male. Not sure which one, though.

It’s be a shame because they were an impressive family. I saw all 3 plus their mother, the Durga female all together when the siblings were around 2ish. The male was already much larger than his mother.

no idea who he is..not her bro though, her brother from the same litter looks like a male version of their mother, baras is the only one that looks like their father.

@Rage2277, this is Bindu in Khursaspar zone.

I was asking about that male because Baras has young cubs and that male didn’t look like the father. This big male (maybe the same male) was also seen near her area. I don’t know his name.

Can someone identify the 2 tigers above?
If you also have the original high resolution image of them, could you post?
Thanks
