The rush was mad to see him, when we heard the alarm calls of the spotted dear. We were roaming in the territory of Bamera Junior, son of famous, Bamera, and we were sure it was him.
As we took our vantage point, he emerged from the bushes, hissing and pumping "fire". The rest of the magic, was done by a chilly morning and the golden sun rays.

New Dominant Male of Magdhi/Khitauli zone photographed by Naresh Singh(Gudda – Naturalist at Kings Lodge, #Bandhavgarh) while he was chasing the previous dominant male Bamera at Bhadrashila(Magadhi Zone).

Since he is a Big Tiger the naturalists & guides named him "Bada Male" or Bheem.

Munna - The 'CAT'. Probably the most famous tiger in India because of his unique marking and definitely my all time favorite. Its nice to know he is still alive and kicking.

I asked if it was a recent photo and he just liked the comment so I don't know for sure, but it looked recent so I'm hoping this is a new sighting of the big fella.

Mr.X young male tiger from Bandhavgarh.
He is the son of late Bamera and Langdi tigress.
Initially he shared is territory with Mahaman male. But recently he had a fight with Mahaman male. Mr.X dominated the fight and drove off Mahaman male from his territory and took control of it. Mr.X is a much larger tiger than Mahaman male.

Here is a video of him 8 months back, he seems to have put on alot of size and weight currently, but he is still a young adult, born in the winter 2011.

Mukul Yenorkar 12th May 2016 in morning Safari we saw this Beautiful male so close . Actually waiting for a female with cubs behind the bushes from half hr this Guy suddenly came from behind us n then We witnessed a fierce battle between This male n a female ( according the guides she was having Munna cubs ) The horrible roaring / battle sounds just not more than 200/300 feets but as there were dense bushes we just cld hear them the lightning thunder storms sounds with vibrations . The guides told us that Rhonda male is continuously trying to capture Munna's territory . But in this battle that day the Mother succeeded in saving her cubs . After this fight we even saw Rhonda walking away into Munna's area .

Looks like we may be seeing some Jobhi x Mahaman Male images coming soon.... I wonder if father and son had a hostile encounter or not?

Mihir Mahajan

So, the Bandhavgarh camp has just concluded in the most exciting fashion. Here's a brief account of the tour (all our gypsies combined):
1. Rajbehra's 2 male cubs for a good while.
2. Patiha female's road walk for half an hour.
3. 2 of Patiha's cubs in the bush.
4. Kankati's 3 tiny cubs out in the open!
5. Mahaman male thrice with some amazing images.
6. Jobhi male who was walking alongside Mahaman male (a very rare scene to see 2 dominant males together).
7. Mahaman's sub adult female cubs.
8. Spotty's road walk in glorious light.
9. Spotty's 3 cubs today morning!
10. Another male and female near Magadhi's entrance.
17 tigers in all with some spectacular tiger behavior on display!
Bandhavgarh has been as good as ever! Cannot wait for the summer!

Ever Green "Munna".
He looked like a old warrior, Big in size, walking fearlessly like a King.... Nearly 15 years old now, he has fought his way back in to the core of Kanha. What a Tiger he is.....
Did not expect to see him in this trip. Was lucky enough to spend time with him.

Death of Uma's cub update:
UMA's male cub died due to poaching, not another intruding male. Sad news but apparently the culprits have been caught.
