There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.
Our new member S Boultan needs community opinion on his project on animal conservation. Read his post and if possible help him by replying or sharing it to others who are qualified.

Massive male from Dudhwa. 4:28 on the video is the headshot. You get a true sense of how large these males are in this very rare long sighting (uncommon from Dudhwa where tigers are skittish):

He weighted 224 kg. Was captured 4 days ago from the Mohaan area.
I believe this male was the mate of the now confirmed maneater tigress that was taken in captivity on 18th January. He has been sighted in the same area with two tigers much smaller than him.
Earlier, about 6 months ago, the maneater tigress was sighted in the same area with two cubs. I believe, after the tigress was moved to captivity, this male was taking care of the cubs by himself. Doesn't sound like a good thing for them.
finally! looks like Gabbar/Charger. so glad Thunder and Charger were both sighted along with a plenty of new faces. hope their tribe continues to thrive. TFS !
