Tiger sighting in terai forests is somewhat difficult due to dense vegetation and shy nature of animals but at time one gets lucky.I was able to photograh a tiger there after many unsuccessful safaris in the past three years.I drove after this male tiger for about 1.5 kms clicking in poor light conditions.
Another active corridor is the River Gomti Habitat which originates at Pilibhit and reaches Lucknow..

If we compare the width of the road with the length of the tigress.. She nearly covers the road from the tip of her nose to the tip of her tail..
The distance between her front right paw and left back foot paw is nearly the same as the driving track
