An interview with the author of the new book "The Cougar Conundrum" Mark Elbroch. A couple interesting things I noted include that they (as in panthera) now seem to include pumas as part of the big cats, as well as cheetah's and snow leopard's. Furthermore Elbroch relays that just 20 wolves were equivalent to all human hunting in a particular area in impacting mountain lion ecology.

I just managed to run into a video by the thumbnail and already knowing it would be about pumas since Pumas are also called ''Onça'' here in Brazil.

Its a fearsome fight between 2 pumas most likely Cerrado ones.

Then you do a repost of my post just with the fight scene.

Since its so rare to see such an interaction of Pumas like that.
