Just like their sons, dark maned one had the most dark mane i've ever seen in lion at only 5 yrs of age, he just turned 5 years old when this photo was taken :

This is absurd that 5 years old lion has such a dark mane, Matshapiri elite genes.

He's a fine specimen of male lion. Matshapiri males lineage it must had been a strong one from their forefathers to get producing these kind of specimens with such a big and healthy dark-maned at such young age.
The Fourways male sired by the Majingilane males also had a incredible dark-maned to a similar age as this one. Quite incredible IMHO Reply
