3 old skybed males sired the 9 young Skybed Males in 2007. Not the Matimba Males. In fact no ranger has ever said that the 3 old skybed males sired the Matimbas

They overtake Birmingham pride in 2006..

2 Birmingham lionesses which are still alive are Matimbas sisters, and Ngala rangers said they are 14 yrs old..

Give me 1 evidence, except Western sector rangers word, that they are born in 2005??

I have asked MalaMala and Ngala rangers before and i will look for the texts and ask them again as well.
But i think this agenda against Hairy belly Matimba should be stopped many people are trying to decrease his age. Majingelane and other coalitions ages were never confirmed but no one had a doubt. Matimbas age has been confirmed by Western rangers although. But still. This seems forced.
And many trolls who have been saying he is 12/13 years old since 2016 are still saying he is 13/14 years old. Strange.

What agenda? Why it matters if he is 15 or 14? Lol

Sabi Sands rangers can not know his exact birth date because he arrived in Sabi Sands in 2011/2012..

So, Matimbas where 7 yrs old when they overtake their first pride in 2012?? Coalition of 6 males waiting to 7 yrs to make a move? Thats rubish...

Do they look like 6 yrs old prime males here in 2011? No they dont..

Here is picture of them in April 2011,do they look like 6 yrs old prime males?? :

Young HB in front, he doesnt look like even 5 yrs old lion..

Matimbas are not born in 2005...

And until western rangers said that he was 15, nobody even said that, all where saying that Matimbas where 13 yrs old in 2019..

Peace guys  Heart

Whatever his age HB is a remarkable lion and the oldest in his neighborhood. I think the exact number doesn't matter and is somewhat irrelevant.

He has outlived almost all the male lions and coalitions that he has crossed paths with: the Majingalani, the Matshapiris, the Selati. Heck he has even outlived 3/5 of the BBoys. I am convinced that if Ginger was healthy they would have put the Northern Avocas to flight.

This, even at 14 yrs of age he outlived 99% male lions in Kruger, so idk why some people are offended if he isnt 1 year older...thats a joke..

@Alex Morala im not trying to offend you or something, im just saying that if rangers say something it doesnt mean its correct, 99% of this rangers where not even there when Matimbas first  showed up in 2011, and Western rangers first seen Matimbas in 2018...

Ask those rangers if they have some proof that Matimbas are born in 2005.. I would glad to hear then up on that topic..

I watch a lot of ranger/safari videos and ask them questions, some dont seem totally clued up on all the animals especially ages/ natal prides etc. Guess they have to know about lots of animals, not just lions to be fair.as tr1x24 some rangers havent been around long enough, plus rangers move around as do the lions, over the years,so keeping exact details on lions isnt easy

Exactly, majority of rangers dont follow lions closly as we do..

I've seen rangers calling Othawa male a 8 yrs old male..

Also, i've asked MalaMala rangers about the 2 Bboys vs 4 N'ws, they didnt know who N'ws are whatsoever, they never heard of them..

Certaintly there are some very knowledge able rangers, but majority are not..
