Giant anteaters are incredible animals very common in Estado Apure in the Venezuelan Llanos, the best moment to find them is late during the day and at night when they are very active, they are very quiet calm animals that prefer to run away from humans, you can get very close to them with out any danger up to 3 meters, if they feel they are threatened they can be dangerous for humans standing on its hind legs ready to attack with their huge powerful claws.
