There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

On our last trip in September we headed towards the S1 looking for the Charleston male with the loose hanging tooth but found his brother mating.

The Boys are Back !! Cool The Charleston Males made a return after a lengthy absence. It seems as though most of their territory is now in the Kruger National Park, but we were fortunate enough to see them join up with the Southern Pride on a Buffalo kill.

They are looking strong and healthy and to my amazement that tooth is still hanging on!

It's not only the tooth but the actual jaw itself

It's incredible how well the charlestons took to the role of dominant males, these guys were born in just 2011 and always seem to behave a year or two ahead of similarly aged coalitions. Best genes in sabi sands.
